Today, I pledge to dare greatly. I will demonstrate the courage to be vulnerable, to show up and be seen. To ask for what I need, to talk about how I’m feeling, and to have the difficult conversations.
I will dare greatly as a young professional in the workplace, as a daughter in a motherless home, as an older sister in a time of transformation, as a single woman in the dating scene, as a female combating shame in the face of judgment, as a student seeking self-fulfillment in a sea of competition, as an optimist in a world of fear.
I will dare greatly through my mind, my leadership, my wellness, my actions, my words. I promise to embrace vulnerability wholeheartedly so that I can develop empathy, compassion, creativity, and self-love.
This, I pledge to you.
